Cool Cat Names

Ana’s babies are 12 days old and eyes are already open.  It is our practice to assign each kitten a temporary name for use during the selection process by our future pet parents.  The majority of the time we use Russian names in respect for their heritage, but every once in a while we drift away from this practice to change things up a bit.  This happens to be a day when I need some cheering up so in searching for sources I came across a site that lists “cool cat names.”

http://www.thepurringtonpost.com/cool-cat-names/ (make sure you arrow over to all three pages!)

So hopefully, our future pet parents will share in my sense of humor!

Cute! Lindsay said the first one should be Hairy Pawter instead. 😉

Love the names Nancy – especially Shakespurr. My Mom had a childhood cat they named Shakespeare.

Hope your “blues” do not last long and are not over something serious.

    • Thanks, Vicki. Received news today that one of my favorite women of all time, Pat Summitt, is in hospice and her family is by her side. Outlook is not good. She is the reason I love women’s basketball – head coach of the Tennessee Lady Vols for 38 years. Jim and I had the blessing to meet and talk with her. In addition to being a great basketball coach, she is a teacher, leader, mentor and great example of being a lady.

Love Shakespurr! We have a list of about 10 names that we are thinking about for our new little girl. Sandi 🙂
